Do you envision yourself backstage styling hair for PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival, working on photoshoots or assisting our L'Oréal Pro Artists on events and launches

Join our L'Oréal Professionnel Pro Styling Team and work backstage at Melbourne Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival and other local events. 

This team will be offered “money can’t buy” opportunities while developing important styling skills.

Step 1: Enroll into one of L'Oréal Professionnel's Session Styling Audition Days.

Understanding the Audition Process:

Our auditions are designed to identify individuals with the precision, speed, and creative flair essential for the fast-paced environment of fashion week. All tasks will be conducted on MANNEQUINS. If you have access to long-hair mannequins in your salon and are able to bring one, please let us know when you book your slot!

You will be assessed on the following key tasks:

• Product Application
• Blow-dry
• Tong (curling/waving techniques)
• Ponytail
• Finger Wave
• Freestyle Look (demonstrating your creativity and signature style)
• Social Media Posting (understanding brand representation and digital engagement)

Key Criteria for Joining the Team:

• To ensure we select a team that truly embodies the L'Oréal Professionnel standard, candidates must meet these requirements:
• Applicants must be a 3rd year apprentice or upwards to be eligible for auditions.
• Your salon must be a full stockist of L'Oréal Professionnel, including Metal Detox, ARM, our full Colour Portfolio, and the Techni.ART styling range.
• Demonstrate a strong styling skillset across various techniques.
• Possess a positive attitude and be an excellent team player.
• Be willing to learn new methods and adapt to dynamic fashion trends.
• Show an ability to deliver under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Capable of following and understanding direction precisely and efficiently.
